Terms of service

DonutApply (donutapply.com and app.donutapply.com, and the DonutApply Chrome extension) is run by Steerius, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we"). By creating an account or using DonutApply you agree to these terms.

What DonutApply is

A job search app: it lists open US job postings, keeps your profile, resumes and applications, and its Chrome extension fills application forms from your profile. You review every application and press Submit yourself; DonutApply never submits an application or sends a message for you.

Your account

Keep your sign-in to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used it. What you put into DonutApply (your profile, resumes, answers and notes) stays yours; you let us store and process it only to run the service for you. The privacy policy at donutapply.com/privacy says what we read and where it goes.

Plans and billing

• DonutApply has a free plan, with no card and no time limit, and a paid plan, Pro. Free includes searching jobs, the tracker, the companies list with your own tiers, contacts and referral tracking, saved searches, a one-time AI read of your resume, and 10 application fills with the Chrome extension, one application at a time, for the life of your account. Pro adds unlimited fills and filling several applications at once, the AI features that write for you, who to contact, and company insights (the rising score, funding, backers, H-1B pay and research).
• Pro costs $19 per month, or $45 for three months paid up front (plus any sales tax that applies), billed in US dollars through Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
• Pro renews automatically at the end of each month or three-month period, on the day it started, and the card on file is charged each time, until you cancel.
• If a payment fails, Stripe tries the card again for a while and you can keep using DonutApply meanwhile; if it still cannot be paid, Pro ends and you are back on the free plan.
• We may change the price. If we do, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before the new price applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.

Cancelling and refunds

• Cancel anytime from Billing in the app (Manage billing → Cancel plan). No call or email needed.
• Cancelling stops the next charge. You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for, then you are on the free plan.
• Payments already made are not refunded, including for part of a period, except where the law requires it or a charge was made in error. If you think you were charged in error, write to us at the address below.
• After Pro ends your profile, resumes and applications stay in your account, and you can subscribe again to use Pro features, or ask us to delete them.

Using it fairly

Use DonutApply for your own job search. Don't use it to apply on someone else's behalf without their say, to send applications or messages you have not reviewed, to scrape or resell the job listings, or to break the terms of the sites you apply on. We may suspend an account that does.

What we promise, and what we don't

We work hard to keep listings current and fills accurate, but job postings come from other sites and can be out of date, and the extension and the app's AI can get an answer wrong: check every application before you submit it. DonutApply is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, and to the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We do not promise you a job.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms; if a change matters, we will tell you before it applies. You can stop using DonutApply and ask us to delete your account at any time.
