Free, unlimited autofill

Every answer says where it came from.

Your details go in from your profile. Anything it isn't sure of is outlined for you to check. On the free plan it fills as many applications as you like, one at a time.

An application form for a Senior GRC Engineer role at Bauer Systems being filled in by the extension. Fields fill one by one, each labelled with where its answer came from, one answer is outlined for review, and the cursor stops near the Submit button, which only the person presses.

The application systems it fills

Most employers take applications through one of a handful of systems. Each has its own form, its own lists and its own quirks, and the fill knows them.

And the rest

It also fills the forms of BambooHR, Breezy, Eightfold, Gem, JazzHR, Personio, Pinpoint, Recruitee, Rippling, Teamtailor and Workable. On any other page with a form, press Fill in the side panel and it tries it there.

Some systems put a step in front of the form: iCIMS a CAPTCHA, Oracle and ADP a code by email or text, SuccessFactors and Paycom an account. You get past that step yourself, and the form fills after it.

From your resume to a filled form

Set it up once. After that, every application starts mostly done.

  1. Set up your profile

Upload your resume and DonutApply reads it into your profile: contact details, every job and school, your links. Add answers to the questions applications keep asking, like work authorization, sponsorship and start date.

  2. Add the extension

Install it from the Chrome Web Store and sign in with your DonutApply account. It opens as a side panel beside the application.

  3. Open an application and press Fill

The form fills and your resume is attached. Every answer in the panel says where it came from and how sure it is, and anything worth a second look is outlined on the page.

  4. Check it and press Submit

You submit. Once the form has gone through, the job is marked applied in your tracker, and the answers you settled on are kept for the next form that asks.

What it never does

  • Press Submit. It fills and stops. Sending the application is you.
  • Make things up. Answers come from your profile and what you have written. It never claims a license, clearance, degree or employer your record lacks, and never invents a salary.
  • Solve a CAPTCHA. When a site asks for one, it waits for you.
  • Keep your passwords. On a site that wants an account it types your email; you sign in, and your browser's password manager keeps the password.

On the free plan: unlimited autofill, one application at a time. A multi-page application counts as one.

On Pro, $19 a month: open your saved jobs at once and fill them side by side, with any CAPTCHAs lined up for you to answer back to back.

Questions about autofill

What is job application autofill?

An extension that types your details into a job application for you: name, contact details, work history, schools, links, your resume and the answers you have given before. DonutApply's fills the form from your profile, says where each answer came from, outlines what it is unsure of, and leaves Submit to you.

Which application systems does it fill?

Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and SmartRecruiters, and the forms of BambooHR, Breezy, Eightfold, Gem, JazzHR, Personio, Pinpoint, Recruitee, Rippling, Teamtailor and Workable. On any other page with a form, the Fill button in the side panel tries it there.

Does it make answers up?

No. Your details and saved answers go in without a model. The rest is answered only from what you have written; what your record only implies, like work authorization, is filled and outlined for you to check. It never claims a license, clearance, degree or employer your record lacks, and it never invents a salary.

Will it submit the application for me?

No. It fills the form and stops. You read what it put in, change anything you like, and press Submit yourself.

Is it free?

Yes. Filling applications is free and unlimited, one application at a time, with no card asked for. Pro, $19 a month, opens several saved jobs at once and fills them side by side.

Which browsers does it work in?

Chrome, from the Chrome Web Store.

Donut apply so hard.

Go take a nap.
We’ll keep looking.

Fresh jobs keep arriving while you sleep. When you're up, the forms fill in minutes and the tracker keeps itself tidy.

Autofill is free and unlimited; Pro is $19 a month when you want the writing done for you.
