Fill Greenhouse applications in one pass

Greenhouse runs the job boards of a large share of tech companies, and each one adds its own questions to the form. DonutApply fills the standard fields and the company's own questions from your profile. You check it and press Submit.

How it fills a Greenhouse application

One page, but a long one, and the hard parts are the lists and the questions a company adds. Here is what the fill does with each.

  • On Greenhouse or on the company's site

It fills forms on Greenhouse's own job boards and forms a company has put inside its own careers page, where the form sits in a frame of its own.

  • Your details and your resume

Name, email, phone, location and links go in from your profile, and your resume is attached in the resume slot: the one you tailored for that job if you made one, otherwise your default.

  • Long lists

School and discipline lists with hundreds of entries, degree levels, and location boxes that search as you type are opened and picked like a person would.

  • The company's own questions

Questions you have answered before come from your saved answers. Questions that ask you to write, like “Why do you want to work here?”, are drafted from your own record and outlined for you to read.

  • Eligibility and screening

Work authorization and sponsorship come from your saved answers; what your record only implies is filled and outlined to check. Checkboxes like “mark all that apply” are ticked one by one.

  • Demographic questions

Gender, ethnicity, veteran and disability questions take your saved answers, or the form's own option to decline when you have none.

From your resume to a filled form

Set it up once. After that, every application starts mostly done.

  1. Set up your profile

Upload your resume and DonutApply reads it into your profile: contact details, every job and school, your links. Add answers to the questions applications keep asking, like work authorization, sponsorship and start date.

  2. Add the extension

Install it from the Chrome Web Store and sign in with your DonutApply account. It opens as a side panel beside the application.

  3. Open an application and press Fill

The form fills and your resume is attached. Every answer in the panel says where it came from and how sure it is, and anything worth a second look is outlined on the page.

  4. Check it and press Submit

You submit. Once the form has gone through, the job is marked applied in your tracker, and the answers you settled on are kept for the next form that asks.

What it never does

  • Press Submit. It fills and stops. Sending the application is you.
  • Make things up. Answers come from your profile and what you have written. It never claims a license, clearance, degree or employer your record lacks, and never invents a salary.
  • Solve a CAPTCHA. When a site asks for one, it waits for you.
  • Keep your passwords. On a site that wants an account it types your email; you sign in, and your browser's password manager keeps the password.

On the free plan: unlimited autofill, one application at a time. A multi-page application counts as one.

On Pro, $19 a month: open your saved jobs at once and fill them side by side, with any CAPTCHAs lined up for you to answer back to back.

Questions about Greenhouse autofill

Is there a free Greenhouse autofill?

Yes. The DonutApply Chrome extension fills Greenhouse applications for free, as many as you like, one at a time, from your profile, your resume and your saved answers.

Does it work when the Greenhouse form is inside a company's careers page?

Yes. Many companies put the Greenhouse form inside their own site, and the extension fills it there the same way.

Questions you have answered before are filled from your saved answers. Ones that ask you to write are drafted from your profile and background, and outlined so you read them before you submit.

Is it free?

Yes. Filling applications is free and unlimited, one application at a time, with no card asked for. Pro, $19 a month, opens several saved jobs at once and fills them side by side.
