Fill Ashby applications from your profile
Ashby runs the job boards of many fast-growing startups, often with a dozen questions of the company's own. DonutApply fills them from your profile and saved answers. You check it and press Submit.
How it fills an Ashby application
What an Ashby form asks, and what the fill does with each part.
-
Your details and resume
Name, email, phone, location and links from your profile, and your resume attached: the one tailored for that job if you made one.
-
Eligibility
Work authorization and sponsorship come from your saved answers. Where your record only implies the answer, it is filled and outlined for you to check.
-
Multi-select questions
“Which of these apply to you?” lists are read option by option, and only what your record supports is ticked.
-
Screening questions
Yes-or-no questions about experience are answered from your record. One it inferred is flagged; it never claims a license, clearance, degree or employer your record lacks.
-
Acknowledgements and opt-ins
A required acknowledgement is ticked. An opt-in to texts or marketing is ticked only when the form requires it.
-
Writing questions
“Why this company?” and other questions that ask you to write are drafted from your own record and outlined for you to read.
From your resume to a filled form
Set it up once. After that, every application starts mostly done.
-
Set up your profile
Upload your resume and DonutApply reads it into your profile: contact details, every job and school, your links. Add answers to the questions applications keep asking, like work authorization, sponsorship and start date.
-
Add the extension
Install it from the Chrome Web Store and sign in with your DonutApply account. It opens as a side panel beside the application.
-
Open an application and press Fill
The form fills and your resume is attached. Every answer in the panel says where it came from and how sure it is, and anything worth a second look is outlined on the page.
-
Check it and press Submit
You submit. Once the form has gone through, the job is marked applied in your tracker, and the answers you settled on are kept for the next form that asks.
What it never does
- Press Submit. It fills and stops. Sending the application is you.
- Make things up. Answers come from your profile and what you have written. It never claims a license, clearance, degree or employer your record lacks, and never invents a salary.
- Solve a CAPTCHA. When a site asks for one, it waits for you.
- Keep your passwords. On a site that wants an account it types your email; you sign in, and your browser's password manager keeps the password.
On the free plan: unlimited autofill, one application at a time. A multi-page application counts as one.
On Pro, $19 a month: open your saved jobs at once and fill them side by side, with any CAPTCHAs lined up for you to answer back to back.

Will it sign me up for texts or marketing email?

Will it submit the application for me?
No. It fills the form and stops. You read what it put in, change anything you like, and press Submit yourself.
Is it free?
Yes. Filling applications is free and unlimited, one application at a time, with no card asked for. Pro, $19 a month, opens several saved jobs at once and fills them side by side.
